Executive Director/Principal

As the Executive Director/Principal I get to visit classes, support staff, and work with community members to support our school (probably a thousand other things!). When I'm not at ABHS, I teach a film class at UNM. When I'm not at any school you can find me working out with friends, playing in the park with my kids and pups, or reading under a tree.

I am so fortunate to work at a place like ABHS! I appreciate what students have taught me over the years.  I love the outdoors and enjoy cycling, fishing, camping, doing home repairs and working on cars. My new interest is in making digital movies.

I’m Mark C, the techie guy at Amy Biehl.  My professional goal is in two parts. First I provide the technology for the school allowing it to fulfill its educational mission. Secondly, I support students with technology allowing them to maximize their potential as a scholar at ABHS. A personal goal is to provide equal access to all technologies for all students at all times. No one should be concerned that they can’t participate in the digital revolution because of gender, ethnicity, social situation, or for any other reason while attending ABHS.
