Amy Biehl High School is currently located at in the historic post office building (built in 1908) in the heart of the Downtown area, at 123 4th St. (4th and Gold). We remodeled this elegant 52,000 square foot structure for educational purposes. We are successfully moved to our new home in January of 2006.
As we like to say, "Downtown will be our Classroom" and our students will revitalize Downtown Albuquerque in return. Our students will have access to all of the museums, Magnifico Festival of the Arts, Keshet Dance Company, The Hispanic Cultural Center, the Public Library, the BioPark, and the Zoo, just to name a few locations that will be within walking distance or short bus ride. ABHS will be the first urban high school in Albuquerque in more than 30 years!
